The 26-year-old beauty queen has been missing since October 12, and to this day, her whereabouts remain unknown.

CATHERINE CAMILON CASE – Calabarzon Police Chief Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas gave an update about the case of the missing beauty queen.

Catherine’s family reported her missing on October 12, 2023, and she was declared a “missing person” by the Batangas Police Provincial Office on October 19, 2023. Catherine, 26, is a candidate for Miss Grand Philippines 2023 and a batchmate of Herlene Budol. She is also a public school teacher in Tuy, Batangas.

Lucas stated that the investigation into Catherine’s case is ongoing, and they are trying to determine what happened to her. “Ongoing pa yung investigation natin kung ano ba talaga yung nangyari dito kay Ms. Catherine, ‘no,” said Lucas in an interview on the program “Ano Sa Palagay N’yo?” on October 20, 2023.

One of the leads in the case is the CCTV footage where the beauty queen was last seen. Lucas mentioned, “Kagabi meron na silang lead kung saan yung huling napuntahan at nakita itong si Catherine aside don sa mall diyan sa Batangas.” The police official did not provide further information as the investigation is still ongoing. However, he assured, “We are committing na si Catherine… we’ll bring home Catherine safe.”

He emphasized that they are confident Catherine is still alive. Lucas stated, “Unang-una, meron nang initial report, ‘no, which I cannot divulge, kung ano po yung natanggap namin na report sa investigation. We are very confident na itong si Miss Catherine, e, buhay pa.”

Lucas also highlighted the significance of CCTV footage in their search for the beauty queen. “Itong CCTV napakalaking bagay… tulong sa imbestigasyon na ginagawa natin.” He mentioned that they continuously backtracked through the CCTV footage to identify places where Catherine might have gone in Batangas.

Meanwhile, Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste offered a 100K reward in search of Catherine Camilon. In an interview, Leviste stated that he visited Camilon’s family home in Tuy, Batangas, where he provided financial support.
