Pokwang: “Address your issues at once. Reach out to each other.”
POKWANG – The actress-comedienne recently shared an advice for “Slay Zone” co-star Glaiza De Castro.
It can be recalled that Wide International Film Productions co-founder Glaiza De Castro and her husband David Rainey tied the knot in Northern Ireland last October 2021 and got married in Zambales last January 2023.
Pokwang and Glaiza are set to star in an upcoming suspense thriller titled “Slay Zone” alongside Lou Veloso, Maui Taylor, and many more.
The actress-comedienne admitted that the reason why she’s inspired is that she has to work thrice harder for her daughters Malia and Mae. Like all mothers, Pokwang wants to provide for Malia’s needs, the way she did for her older sister Mae.
She, in her own words, wants to fill up the yawning hole her ex-partner Lee O’Brian created as a father to Malia. So she looks at the bright side – including the reason behind her failed relationship.
According to her, God is taking her to the right way and the reason why she’s even open to another relationship is because “God might have a better plan”. The actress-comedienne went on to advise Glaiza to “address your issues at once” and “reach out to each other”.
The actress-comedienne has learned her lessons and also vowed that someday, she will pass on some of those hard-earned lessons when her daughter Malia is old enough to understand.
She added that she will advise Malia to love herself and will also tell her youngest daughter to do whatever she wants – to travel, enjoy life.
Pokwang plays her dream role – a brave cop – in the upcoming movie.
Meanwhile, Glaiza said at a story conference for the upcoming movie that she’s not mentally prepared for a baby because she wants to grab the opportunities coming her way and also wants to enjoy her time together with her husband.
