This November 2023, there is one regular holiday in the Philippines. It will be on the 27th day of the month. The said regular holiday is in commemoration of the Andres Bonifacio Day. It is a national holiday set to celebrate the birth of the Filipino hero who is called as the “Father of the Philippine Revolution”.
On November 27 which will fall on a Monday, classes in schools and the work in most offices, public and private, will be suspended. Government offices cancel work operations. In the case of private companies that will operate on the said holiday, the employees who will report to work will get an extra pay equivalent to one whole day of work. Aside from the regular holiday on November 27, 2023, there are two (2) special non-working days declared in the Philippines this upcoming month of November. On November 1, the All Saint’s Day is held. The following day, November 2, it is set for the All Soul’s Day.
During these special non-working days, employees who will be reporting to work will get an extra pay that is equivalent to 30% of the daily salary rate of the employee. ere are the special non-working days this year:
