A new feature for upgraded Maya users, Maya Funds lets you invest in Mutual Funds (MFs) and Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs). You can use this feature to access products by fund providers.
You can deposit money to your Maya Wallet from the investments you sell, fund your investments using your Maya Wallet, view your investment transaction history, see the latest price and investment performance of each product, get instant access to new investment products, view your latest investment balances, and subscribe, top up, and redeem your fund investments once you created an account.
This feature is suitable for both new and experienced investors. But who are the fund providers in Maya Funds?
The fund products you will find on this feature are provided by ATRAM Trust Corporation (ATRAM) and BPI Investment Management Inc. (BIMI). Both ATRAM and BIMI are trusted leaders in the fund management industry in the country.
- ATRAM Trust Corporation is the first standalone trust corporation in the country. This corporation received its license to operate from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in October 2016.
- BPI Investment Management Inc., on the other hand, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bank of the Philippines Islands (BPI) and was incorporated on July 30, 1974 as Ayala Investment Management, Inc. to principally engage in the business of managing an investment company.
