Kier Legaspi: “I’m excited because my exposure is during the pilot week.”
KIER LEGASPI – The actor returns to acting after a three-year hiatus as he’s set to star in the upcoming Kapuso series “Black Rider”
In an interview during the birthday lunch for entertainment journalist Pilar Mateo at Palm Grill Restaurant in Quezon City last October 25, the actor expressed his excitement to resume his acting career.
Kier said that he’s happy to be part of the series and also excited about it because his exposure is during the show’s pilot week. The actor plays the role of a kidnapper in the upcoming TV series.
He went on to share the reason why he decided to take a break from acting. According to the actor, he stopped for a while because he felt like he was burning out from acting at that time.
Kier also said that he focused on other things. He shared that he got married and he also built a business with his wife.
“Ngayon bumalik na ako. I’m okay now. Na-miss ko talaga yung acting,” the actor said in an interview. “I’m very happy and married. I’m also satisfied. I’m leading a quiet life now.”
In the same interview, the actor shared that he misses his late acquaintances in the showbiz industry. He said that the people he knew before are gone and people who saw him grow up in showbiz are also gone.
The actor also said that he’s close to the crew and production staff, adding that he’s respectful to his colleagues on the set.
Aside from this, the actor also open up about his relationship with his non-showbiz wife. He shared that they’re 18 years together as they were boyfriend-girlfriend for 9 years before they got married.
