Joshua Garcia: “Buti nangyari rin ‘yung pandemic. Doon ko na-realize kung ano ba talaga ‘yung gusto ko lang, ‘yung kailangan ko.”
JOSHUA GARCIA – The Kapamilya actor recently shared that he learned to live a simple life after the pandemic.
The Kapamilya actor starred in TV series titled “Unbreak My Heart”. Aside from this, he also enrolled at the famed culinary school Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS).
In an interview with Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras”, Joshua said he learned to live a simple life at the age of 26.
The actor also revealed that he used to love expensive cars before, but he prefers to have a simple life after the pandemic. According to him, he was able to think about what’s more important to him because of the pandemic.
“Noong una kasi siyempre, dahil bago lang sa akin ang lahat ng ‘yun, binibili ko talaga lahat ng gusto ko. Gusto ko ng sports car Dodge, bumili ako. Gusto ko ng motor na maganda, big bike, bumili rin ako,” he said. “Buti nangyari rin ‘yung pandemic. Doon ko na-realize kung ano ba talaga ‘yung gusto ko lang, ‘yung kailangan ko.”
Joshua shared that his being a simple person came from his childhood. According to the actor, he didn’t grow up with money and so he said to his family that he will support them as long as he has it.
Aside from this, he shared that he’s saving his money for the future. He also said that he puts his money on things that will grow instead of saving it in the bank, adding that investing is a good way and watches are also an investment for him.
Meanwhile, the actor revealed he’s taking culinary courses because of one of his dreams – to have a restaurant with his father.
