Herlene Budol Joins Search for Missing Beauty Queen Catherine Camilon

Herlene Budol on Catherine Camilon: “Sis, uwi ka na”

HERLENE BUDOL – The actress-beauty queen has joined the efforts to locate the missing beauty queen Catherine Camilon, who was her fellow contestant in the Miss Grand Philippines 2023.

Camilon has been missing since Thursday, October 12, according to her family. On Friday, October 13, her sister Chin-chin Camilon publicly appealed on Facebook to one of Catherine’s colleagues, who was known to have been with her the previous evening, asking for any information about the beauty queen’s whereabouts. However, the colleague in question has not responded to the post.

In her Facebook post, Chin-chin mentioned that Catherine’s last phone call was made the previous night at 8 pm, and her phone has been turned off since the following morning. Catherine’s absence from online communication is unusual because she typically maintains regular contact with her family. This marks the first time she has not been in touch. Chin-chin also shared a post on October 13 containing details about Catherine’s car, a Nissan Juke with the license plate number NEI 2990.

On Monday, October 16, Chin-chin posted her mother Rose Camilon’s phone number on the internet for anyone with information about Catherine. Prior to that, Rose had expressed her concerns about her daughter. Catherine Camilon was last spotted in a mall in Lemery, Batangas, a few hours before she became completely unresponsive to her family and was reported missing.

Sis, uwi ka na,” she added.
