Here’s an update on the case of the missing beauty queen Catherine Camilon
CATHERINE CAMILON – The reward for information regarding the whereabouts of the missing Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate and Grade 9 teacher, has been raised to PHP 250,000.
Catherine, who represented Tuy, Batangas, in the said pageant, was last seen and heard from by her family on October 12, 2023, making it fourteen days since her disappearance as of October 26.
The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) recently contributed an additional PHP 50,000 to the reward fund, making it PHP 200,000 with PHP 100,000 from the business sector in Region 4A and another PHP 100,000 from Batangas Vice-Governor Mark Leviste. This collective reward serves as an incentive for anyone with information about Camilon’s location.
However, despite extensive efforts by authorities, including the review of CCTV footage and the convening of a case conference involving various agencies in the province, Catherine’s exact whereabouts remain unknown. The police are actively seeking additional CCTV footage and exploring areas along the possible route of Catherine’s vehicle on the day of her disappearance, October 12.
