Online Community Lauds Bacolod Nursing Students for Helping Struggling Woman and Children
Two Bacolod nursing students were lauded for helping a struggling woman and her children during a late-night bus trip.
Nowadays, acts of kindness can shine brightly as symbols of compassion and humanity. Two nursing students from Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B) displayed the heartwarming values of empathy to a struggling mom and two young kids.
The woman together with her two young children boarded the bus. The older kid seemed to be struggling to get on the vehicle and the distressing sound of a baby’s cries filled the bus.
The woman faced the daunting task of tending to her two children while managing the confines of a moving bus. Hunger contributed to the infant’s unease. The struggling mother had to place her child on the bus’s floor.
The kind-hearted students identified as Christelle Parcon and Kenneth Marwin Palic decided to step in and offer their help. Their sense of compassion and duty kicked in, pushing them to provide assistance.
The students assisted the woman and her children, offering a helping hand to ease her burdens. Their heartwarming gesture showed not only their commitment to their future profession but also their genuine concern for their fellow passengers.
The two managed to bring a sense of calm to the bus and help the infant find comfort by helping the struggling lady. Their determination to help someone in need portrays the values of kindness, empathy, and a spirit of community.

“tonight, my faith in humanity was restored.
while gasakay ko midnight trip papuli Cadiz after class, nagsakay si Nanay na daw di kasarang magsaka Ceres with her two kids which ang isa kay one year and three months old pa lang.
sige hibi ang bata kay gutom siguro and ginabutang lang sa salog sang iya Mama. and these two nursing students accepted the challenge to help the child.
to my surprise, from Bacolod to Manapla, sa bata lang gid naka focus attention sang tanan kun paano mapatiti ang bata considering wala baby ron dala ang ila Mama. daw halos tanan na pasahero gaduhol food sa Mama para makakaon kag maka breastfeed lang sa iya bata, kag lain lain man na alternative gina offer ka mga pasahero para lang mapatiti ang bata.
salute sa duwa ni ka nursing students na nag facilitate sang everything. such a brave act to insist on helping the child despite the mother’s reluctance.”
