YOUNG VENDOR – A series of photographs depicting a young boy selling food in Megaworld Iloilo instead of playing have gone viral on Facebook.

Recently, Aliyaah Bianca Candoleza took to the social networking site Facebook to make a heartfelt request to netizens who might encounter the boy within the vicinity of Megaworld in Iloilo. She asked them to support the young vendor by purchasing the items he was diligently tending to, including burgers, empanadas, suman latik (rice cakes with caramel), as well as soft drinks.

Candoleza explained that when she and her boyfriend noticed that the young boy was hungry, they purchased a burger and a soft drink from him and allowed him to enjoy a meal. Their empathy extended further as her boyfriend assisted the boy in carrying his items because they were too heavy for him, and he had to cross the road, carrying them one by one.

The concerned netizen passionately implores everyone to extend a helping hand to this young vendor. Candoleza’s post shed light on the fact that instead of attending school at his age, this boy is making significant sacrifices to support his mother.

Candoleza shared her post on the Facebook page “Buhay Call Center ILOILO.” In the comment section, she revealed that the child’s mother had clarified that he’s still a student. Since classes were scheduled to commence on Monday, the boy took the initiative to help his mother by selling these food items while she was en route to Megaworld.
