Kim Chiu: “Ngayong 2023, ako lang mag-isa. Kaya ko naman siguro ito”
KIM CHIU – The Kapamilya actress recently shared the reason why she will be going solo for this year’s ABS-CBN Ball.
This year’s ABS-CBN Ball will happen on September 30, 2023 and will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City. It will be streamed live on ABS-CBN Entertainment and Metro.Style on YouTube and will be available on iWantTFC and TFC IPTV Video on Demand as well.
Celebrity couple Xian Lim and Kim Chiu first went public with their relationship in 2018. They had actually been going to the ball together since 2017 and are known as “KimXi”.
Kim said that she will be going solo for this year’s ABS-CBN Ball and the reason is that his real-life partner Xian Lim is in India and is invited to go to Himalayas.
“Wala si Xian. Nasa India siya as of the moment. Nag-mo-motor siya sa Himalayas. Pangarap niya yun eh. May nag-invite sa kanya so ingat siya,” she said. “Ngayong 2023, ako lang mag-isa. Kaya ko naman siguro ito (laughs).”
She said this when she was interviewed during the Hairfix Professional Product Launch press conference held last September 28, 2023.
Kim shared that she’s looking forward to the ABS-CBN Ball this year. According to the actress, she tries to enjoy all parts of the event – from the preparations to the actual party.
She also said that choosing what fashion statement she wants to make this year with her gown is also part of her favorite memories from past balls, adding that she’s just excited about how she’ll look.
