The actress is currently making waves online after a netizen shared a video of her walking in the mall accompanied by a group of men dressed in white polo shirts. Some netizens speculated that they were acting as her bodyguards, safeguarding her and her family.

Numerous social media users criticized Kaye for her perceived extravagance, with some suggesting that she assumed people would crowd around her, explaining her need for multiple guards. Nonetheless, some of her fans came to her defense, asserting that the guards accompanying her were part of the mall’s standard protocol for celebrities who visit.

Kaye addressed the issue in a statement, asserting that she typically shops alone or occasionally with her children and does not employ any bodyguards. “I’m always alone when I do my groceries. Or sometimes kasama ko ang kids. Pero walang bodyguards,” the actress stated. She concluded with, “Mga chismosa kayo ng taon.”
