Dion Ignacio: “Siguro ‘yun na nga, kasi answered prayer din ‘yung asawa ko eh”
DION IGNACIO – The actor recently shared the reason why he changed his number after reconnecting with his partner — now wife — Aileen Sison.
The actor appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he shared that his wife is his “answered prayer”.
Dion currently stars in Kapuso TV series “Royal Blood” alongside actress Lianne Valentin, who also appeared in the talk show.
Earlier, the actor said he “threw away” his old phone. But he clarified in an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda that he only changed his mobile number, adding that his wife is “an answered prayer”.
“Hindi naman tinapon eh, pero siguro ‘yun na nga, kasi answered prayer din ‘yung asawa ko eh,” the actor told the King of Talk.
The “Royal Blood” actor admitted that he had a messy life and also felt like he had no direction before. According to him, he needed to straighten out his life, and then Aileen came into his life again.
Dion also said that it’s hard for him to make a clean sweep of his phone contacts.
“Baka [mamaya], ‘Oh, sino yang nagte-text?’ Parang nagde-date pa lang kayo, sira ka na,” the actor told the King of Talk in an interview. “So kaya dapat, nilayo ko na tapos nagpalit na akong number.”
Aileen Sison and Dion Ignacio reconnected 8 years after they broke up. It was in 2021 when the actor revealed that he and his partner already engaged and got married in Viridis Countryside in Cavite shortly after the announcement.
The couple have two children together named Dylanne Jailee and Dreighton. It was last March when the couple celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary.
