Jane de Leon and Janella Salvador on their possible “girls’ love” project
JANE DE LEON AND JANELLA SALVADOR – The Kapamilya stars are looking forward to reuniting for a possible “girls’ love” project.
The actresses, whose on-screen chemistry in “Darna” was well-received, spoke about working together as a romantic pairing during a TikTok Live last August 20, 2023. At that time, they two were asked if they’re open to reuniting for a possible project.
According to the actresses, they’re hoping to reunite for a “girls’ love” or GL project in the future.
In a video obtained by user @JaneNellaUpdate and posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) last August 20, Janella told their viewers to trust them and “what’s meant to be, will be”.
Jane, for her part, told their viewers to relax and went on to invite them to follow Janella’s account on TikTok.
“GL daw. Wait lang, guys,” Janella said. “Magtiwala kayo sa’min. Ang masasabi ko lang, what’s meant to be, will be.”

It can be recalled that Janella Salvador previously talked about working with Jane as a love team during an ambush interview last January, saying that their on-screen pairing is a “representation of women’s love” in mainstream media.
According to Janella, she really feels happy to represent the LGBTQ community and they held on to their pairing because women’s love has not been properly represented. The actress added that she wants to be the voice of people who aren’t represented.
Jane, for her part, hoped that their “girls’ love” project would have a good storyline.
“Sana ‘yung story rin kasi it is all about the craft. Artist din kami so it’s a challenge if ever it happens,” Jane said at that time.
