Vice Ganda: “Ibang klase ‘yung joy na meron ako ngayon”
VICE GANDA – The comedian-host recently shared how it feels to be married.
It was in late 2021 when the “It’s Showtime” host had a commitment ceremony with his partner Ion Perez at The Little Vegas Chapel in Nevada, USA.
Vice is the celebrity guest in the latest episode of “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast.
In an interview with broadcast journalist Nelson Canlas, the comedian-host was asked for an update on how it feels to be married.
“Masaya naman,” he told Nelson Canlas in an interview. “Masayang-masaya ako ngayon. Ibang klase ‘yung joy na meron ako ngayon, kung dati happy ako ngayon joyful. Alam mo ‘yon?“
According to him, their relationship now has a deeper meaning.
In the same interview, Vice said that having a huge influence on the LGBTQIA+ community also comes with a greater responsibility.
The 47-year-old comedian-host also said that he has to be a better version of himself because he’s representing not only himself in media but also the entire LGBTQIA+ community.

To recall, Vice recalled in the latest episode of “Everybody, Sing!” how scared he was when his partner asked him to marry him at that time. He admitted that he was afraid of the backlash if he and Ion post their engagement moment, adding that he kept their engagement moment to themselves.
According to him, he was glad that he was able to overcome that fear because “all my care now, lahat ng care ko, na kay Ion na lang at sa nararamdaman namin.”
