Rocco Nacino pens an open letter calling out Manila Ocean Park

ROCCO NACINO – The Kapuso actor took to social media to call out Manila Ocean Park in an open letter following an incident on July 2, 2023.

While they were inside the park, their driver took a nap in one of their cars. The driver noticed two vehicles parking nearby, with seven individuals emerging from them. These individuals began inspecting Rocco’s car, raising suspicions.

The driver pretended to be asleep but remained vigilant. The individuals circled the car and peered inside, seemingly searching for something. Rocco’s driver overheard their discussion on whether to proceed or not. Thankfully, they eventually decided to drive away.

Rocco emphasized that he shared his experience not to criticize the ocean park but to urge them to improve their security measures. He advised increasing patrols both inside and outside the park and investing in security personnel, considering the high number of tourists visiting the area.

Rocco highlighted the potential loss if his driver hadn’t been present and emphasized the importance of not leaving valuables in cars while visiting the park. Rocco also urged readers to share his message with friends planning to visit Manila Ocean Park. He called on the park’s management to invest in secure parking spaces and increase the number of security guards, given the park’s substantial earnings.

Maricris Garcia, a Kapuso singer, thanked Rocco for sharing the incident as she had plans to visit the park. Rocco advised her to have someone drive and avoid leaving the car unattended. Although Rocco tagged the official Facebook page of Ocean Park in his post, the park’s management has yet to respond to or issue a statement about the incident.
