Liza Soberano was born to a Filipino father, John Castillo Soberano, and an American mother, Jacqulyn Elizabeth Hanley. She spent part of her childhood in Visalia, California, raised by her paternal grandparents. At the age of ten, she moved to Manila, Philippines, to live with her father and relatives. Recently, she took to the video-sharing site YouTube, where she uploaded two videos showcasing her activities while in the US. Unfortunately, one of the vlogs received a negative comment from a basher who expressed ill wishes toward her and her family.

Liza didn’t ignore the comment. According to her, she doesn’t usually respond to such things. However, she felt compelled to warn the basher about the consequences of their words or actions towards other people. It appears that the comment has already been deleted, but the entertainment site Fashion Pulis managed to capture a screenshot of the comment.
