Will Kris Bernal attend GMA Gala this year?
KRIS BERNAL – Here’s what the actress and content creator said when she was asked if she will attend the GMA Gala this year.
It was last month when Sparkle GMA Artist Center confirmed the news that the 2nd GMA Gala will be happening on Saturday, July 22, 2023. The 1st edition of GMA Gala that happened last year served as a fundraising event for the benefit of the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
The actress posted a video on Instagram Stories where she responded to a netizen who asked her if she will attend the GMA Gala this year.
In response, the content creator said that she won’t be able to attend the GMA Gala this year. She shared that she would like to reunite with her Kapuso friends but her baby needs her more.
The actress, who is already 36 weeks pregnant, also said in the video that she needs to focus more and prioritize the arrival of her baby “since I’m due any day now so hindi natin masabi”.

According to the content creator, she’s lacking energy and it’s been difficult for her to move these days because her belly is getting heavier and heavier. She then show her growing baby bump to her viewers.
“Sayang, andami ko nang na-miss na events, but it’s okay. Makakabawi din naman,” she said.
Kris Bernal and her husband Perry Choi tied the knot in 2021, announced last March that they’re expecting their first child, revealed last April that they’re expecting a baby girl, and had a baby shower earlier this month.
To recall, the actress shared that she’s on the “final stretch” of her pregnancy. She also said that she and her husband checked the delivery and recovery rooms of the hospital as part of their preparation in case she gives birth at any time.
