Geneva Cruz: “Life is short and you ask forgiveness from people you’ve hurt in the past”
GENEVA CRUZ – After having been married twice in the past, the singer-actress recently spoke about the lessons she learned about love.
It can be recalled that Geneva Cruz was first married to former Introvoyz member Paco Arespacochaga whom she had a son named Heaven. When their marriage was annulled, the singer-actress later tied the knot with Filipino-American host KC Montero.
Geneva appeared on Friday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she shared the lessons she learned about love.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Geneva said that the love lesson she learned is not to make sudden decisions when it comes to marriage.
The singer-actress said that it’s her marriage to KC Montero that she considers her “real marriage” and her “very first relationship” because they’re together for 10 years. According to her, they were in their early 30s when they broke up.
“Nung time namin, sana mas nagbigay pa ko ng oras. Sana mas nakapagpatawad ako dahil lahat naman tayo nagkakamali,” Geneva said.
She also said that life is short and one should ask forgiveness from people he/she has hurt in the past.
In the same interview, Geneva said that she is friends with her exes Paco and KC.
The singer-actress also said that “love is love” and she’s “hopeless romantic”, adding that she believes that love is the answer to everything. She added that she also learned to love herself.
To recall, it was last January when Geneva said that she had reunited with her “first ex/friend” Paco. At that time, she posted a video where they can be seen giving each other a “double high five” without any awkwardness.
Geneva posted a series of photos on her social media account along with a birthday message for Paco as he celebrated his birthday last July 21, 2023.
Filipino-American host KC Montero is married to model Stephanie Dods and welcomed their baby last 2020.
