DAVID LICAUCO – A video of the Kapuso actor serenading the candidates of Miss Grand International has gone viral.
David Licauco is an actor, model, brand ambassador, and entrepreneur. David began his career as a model in 2014 when he won first runner-up in the Mr. and Ms. Chinatown pageant. He gained recognition for his modeling skills after being discovered in Boracay.
Since then, he has walked the runway for various fashion shows, including those by Cosmopolitan, Coca-Cola, and Bench. He has also graced the covers of popular magazines like Candy, Chalk, and Garage.
In 2014, David made his acting debut in the movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” and went on to make appearances in TV series such as “FlordeLiza,” “Ipaglaban Mo!,” “Magpakailanman,” and “Karelasyon.” Last year, David achieved his breakthrough role in “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” portraying Fidel de los Reyes. His performance in the show received critical acclaim, and he was praised for his acting skills.
The Kapuso actor is currently causing a stir online due to a video of him singing the song “Wherever You Will Go” by The Calling. David Licauco serenaded the charming candidates of Miss Grand International during the pageant’s coronation night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
His rendition quickly went viral, eliciting mixed reactions from netizens. One Twitter user with the handle name @lilyganados shared a clip of his performance with the caption: “Jusko david buti na lang mahal kita at pogi ka (laughing emojis).
While some people criticized his rendition, many came to his defense.
