An all-female global pop group will be formed by Chavit Singson
CHAVIT SINGSON – The politician-businessman is reportedly on the lookout for potential talents, specifically female individuals who could be part of an upcoming all-female pop group to be launched in South Korea.
Chavit Singson is a businessman and politician. Singson has served multiple terms as the governor of Ilocos Sur, with terms starting in 1972, 1992, 2004, and 2010. He also held the position of Deputy National Security Adviser for the Philippine government in 2008.
Aside from his political career, Chavit Singson is involved in various business ventures. He is the head of the LCS Group of Companies, a conglomerate with diverse interests. Notably, Singson played a significant role in hosting the Miss Universe 2016 pageant in the Philippines, pledging to raise the necessary funds for the event.
According to a report by the Manila Bulletin, Chavit Singson is forming an all-female global pop group that will be launched in South Korea. This endeavor will be realized through his LCS Entertainment Group and LCS Group Korea. The success of ABS-CBN’s “DreamMaker” and a talent management agency in South Korea in forming the group “Hori7on” inspired this project.
The LCS Entertainment Group is reportedly thrilled to create a female counterpart to the aforementioned all-male pop group. The company believes that there are numerous Filipinos with exceptional talents who have the potential to become global phenomena. Auditions are set to open in November, targeting individuals aged 13 to 22, who possess excellent singing, dancing, and rapping skills, and who are ready to undergo intense training.
