Camille Prats: “Na-realize ko na hindi lahat tumatagal sa industry.”
CAMILLE PRATS – The “AraBella” actress and content creator recently spoke about longevity in the showbiz industry.
The actress started her career in the showbiz industry as a child star and her role as Princess Sarah in “Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa” made a mark. At present, she’s still visible not only in the showbiz industry but also on social media platforms.
Camille appeared on Luis Manzano’s vlog where she talked about the importance of longevity in the showbiz industry.
In an interview with Luis Manzano, she said she’s thankful for the duration of her career in the showbiz industry.
“Masasabi ko kasi Luis na hindi naman sa buong time na ‘yun e you’re there,” she said. “May stages naman in our career na parang kalma lang, relax lang. Mayroon naman na busy. Hindi talaga ever kaya ‘yung nandoon ka lang. It’s going to be very very hard to keep that.“

The actress recalled her father’s reminder to her and her brother John Prats when they were starting out in the showbiz industry. According to her, her father would always tell her and John that the industry they’re in is not about “pasikatan” and the goal there is “patagalan”.
She also realized that not everyone stays long in the showbiz industry and she was able to observe different kinds of careers.
Now that she’s married to her husband VJ Yambao and a mother of her children, Camille said she’s very happy and very grateful that she’s still being given projects.
“Sobrang happy na ako at sobra rin akong grateful na nabibigyan pa ako ng projects,” she said. “Para sa akin it’s just something that I really love to do. And I am grateful that I still get to do it at this point in my life.”
