The bouncer at the bar files a case against Awra Briguela
AWRA BRIGUELA ISSUE – A bouncer working at the bar, who attempted to intervene and calm down the 19-year-old Kapamilya talent, has filed a case against the actor. In an interview with GMA News, the bouncer, named Onin, recounted their efforts to prevent Awra from confronting the complainant, Mark Christian Ravana.
According to the complainant, Awra repeatedly asked him to remove his clothes and pants, but he refused, which apparently angered the actor. The CCTV footage released by Bolt Hole Bar shows Onin and other bar staff members attempting to restrain Awra, but he was uncooperative and continued to be agitated.
Onin revealed the consequences of Awra’s unruly behavior towards them, stating that despite their attempts to calm him down, he remained hostile. Onin added that even when the police arrived, Awra displayed extreme anger and even kicked an officer.
As a result of the incident, Onin plans to file charges against Awra. The bouncer also refuted the claims made by Awra’s camp, asserting that the complainant group had done nothing wrong that night. They carefully reviewed the CCTV footage multiple times to verify the allegations made by Awra’s camp but found no evidence supporting their claims.
Bolt Hole Bar emphasized that they closely monitor their guests and would have been aware if someone had been disrespected within their establishment. Meanwhile, on Saturday, July 1, the actor was released from the Makati City Custodial Jail after his legal team posted bail amounting to PHP6,000. As of press time, Awra Briguela has yet to issue any statement since his release.
