Shan, known for conducting spontaneous street interviews, gained popularity on social media following his interview with Anne. The interview, which lasted only 24 seconds, attracted attention as Shan posed personal questions to the A-list celebrity.
During the impromptu interview, Anne, dressed in a black suit and carrying a paper bag, answered Shan’s inquiries. He started by asking her name and where she was from, and Anne replied, “Anne, the Philippines.” When questioned if her current job was her dream job, she expressed her passion for it. As for her income, Anne responded with a smile, considering it a personal matter.
When asked about her educational background, Anne Curtis revealed that she had studied early education for a semester. Additionally, she shared that her profession sometimes required frequent travel and disclosed that she owned a makeup brand called BLK Cosmetics.
Many netizens found it difficult to believe that Shan genuinely had no knowledge of Anne’s identity. Some viewers questioned whether the interview was scripted or if Shan truly had no awareness of Anne’s celebrity status.
Meanwhile, in another TikTok video, Shan Rizwan admitted that despite being half Filipino because his mother is from Iloilo, he didn’t really know Anne Curtis. He also expressed his gratitude to the actress, praising her for her incredible humility and for granting him an interview. Shan appreciated all the support and attention he received from many people for his videos.

Shan mentioned that Anne was very down-to-earth when she took the time to speak with him, despite her fame. He shared that he often faces rejection from the people he approaches for street interviews in New York City, making him especially grateful for Anne’s willingness to be interviewed.
