PAOLO CONTIS – The actor/comedian/host utilized his personal Facebook account to stream the noontime show, “Eat Bulaga.”
Recently, the social media platforms of TAPE’s “Eat Bulaga” (Facebook and YouTube) were unexpectedly taken down. The reasons behind the removal of these channels were not disclosed. During the Tuesday episode of “Eat Bulaga,” Paolo Contis claimed that their social media pages were removed due to mass reporting.
Paolo confidently stated that despite potential reports from certain netizens, they would persistently post and share content. “Report lang kayo nang report, post lang kami nang post! Hanggang sa mapagod kayong mag-report,” declared Paolo during the July 20 episode of TAPE’s Eat Bulaga. “Hindi po kami hihinto sa pag-try na magkaroon ng Facebook page na ‘yan!” emphasized the actor during the show.
To ensure the show’s online broadcast continues, the actor-comedian decided to live stream “Eat Bulaga” through his official Facebook page. As expected, his decision garnered mixed reactions from netizens.
It is worth mentioning that the revamped version of “Eat Bulaga” started airing on June 5. Paolo Contis was introduced as one of the new hosts, but he faced significant criticism from netizens due to his past issues, including his financial support for his daughters with Lian Paz as well as his controversial relationship with actress Yen Santos.
Aside from Paolo Contis, the hosts of the new “Eat Bulaga” include Buboy Villar, Betong Sumaya, the Legaspi twins, Alexa Miro, and the latest addition to the hosting lineup is former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
