Ogie Alcasid: “I would love to work with him again”
OGIE ALCASID – The singer-actor said that he “would love to work” with his former “Bubble Gang” co-star Michael V. again.
The singer-actor has expressed hopes of working with the comedian in the future, given that Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime” now has a new home in GMA Network’s GTV.
ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime” will have its GTV premiere on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. After that, the show will air on GTV from Monday to Saturday at 12:00 noon.
Following the contract signing between ABS-CBN and GMA Network last June 28, 2023, the singer-actor told members of the press that he recently met up with Bitoy and talked about how the network executives were already talking about the transfer.
According to Ogie, Bitoy sent him a “shocked” emoji when the news about the transfer was finally announced. He also said that he “would love to work” with the comedian again.
The singer-actor was also asked if he could possibly be a guest on Kapuso noontime show “Bubble Gang”.
“Maybe. Hindi ko alam,” Ogie said. “Who knows, if kaya pa ng powers ko.”

According to a report on GMA News Online, GTV (also known as Good Television) on Channel 27 is a Philippines free-to-air television network that is wholly owned by GMA Network.
Meanwhile, Ogie was asked in an interview with GMA News Online if he would like to sing or act in a comedy bit with Bitoy.
“Hindi ko alam eh kung ano man ang… Maganda siguro gumawa ulit kami ng mga sketch,” the singer-actor said in an interview. “Pero si Bitoy na bahala nun, siya ‘yung creative guy eh.”
