MADONNA – The legendary singer has been confined at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is currently recovering due to a “serious bacterial infection.”

In an Instagram post, her manager Guy Oseary shared that the legendary singer was sent to the hospital due to a “serious bacterial infection”.

“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU,” the manager stated on IG. Nevertheless, Guy assured that Madonna’s condition is gradually improving, and it is expected that she will fully recover in the coming days.

Due to the incident, her shows had to be postponed, particularly her concert tour which was supposed to start on July 15. The “Madonna: The Celebration Tour” is a celebration of her music career spanning four decades. It was scheduled to take place in various locations across America, including Vancouver, Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, Boston, and Las Vegas. According to Guy, they will provide updates regarding the rescheduled dates for the postponed shows.
