Veteran actor Gardo Versoza was supposed to undergo his 2nd angioplasty last Friday
GARDO VERSOZA – King of Talk Boy Abunda said that the veteran actor’s 2nd angioplasty procedure was postponed.
The King of Talk said on “For Today’s Talk” portion of June 15 episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that Gardo was supposed to undergo his 2nd angioplasty last Friday, but the said procedure was put on hold because of some complications.
According to Tito Boy, Gardo’s back hurt and he had difficulty breathing at that time.
The King of Talk also said that Gardo’s wife immediately brought him to the hospital. He added that the findings showed that the veteran actor’s hemoglobin levels dropped at that time, requiring him to receive a blood transfusion.
“Hindi natuloy ang kanyang operasyon at sa kasalukuyan, siya’y nagpapahinga, he needs to rest,” Tito Boy said. “But he’s okay. Gardo’s safe.“
Tito Boy also said that the veteran actor will undergo tests after 2 weeks in order to see if he’s fit and ready for his supposed 2nd angioplasty procedure.
Meanwhile, Gardo posted a series of videos on his Instagram account where he can be seen dancing together with his wife.

They even did the “Gento Dance Challenge” where they danced inside the hospital while SB19’s track “Gento” was playing at the background.
To recall, Gardo appeared on June 5 episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he shared what it’s like to find himself brushing close to death.
“Ganun pala ‘yung feeling na parang akala ko before nakakanerbyos,” he said at that time. “Pero come to think of it, parang bibigay mo na lahat kay Lord eh. ‘Yung nga ‘yung pinagdasal ko na, ‘If ever man na this is my time, Kayo na pong bahala dun sa mag-ina’.”
