Chito Miranda on SB19: “I just found out that they write their own songs”
CHITO MIRANDA – Here’s what the “Parokya ni Edgar” frontman said after he found out that members of PPop boy group SB19 wrote their own songs.
The singer posted on his social media account a photo of him, Billy Crawford, and SB19 member Stell. According to him, the said photo was taken during their rehearsals for “The Voice Generations”.
In the caption of his post, Chito said that he was surprised after he found out that the PPop boy group wrote their own songs and also worked closely with their musical arrangers and producers.
Chito also said that he thought SB19 had a team to handle the creative stuff for them.
“Mind blowing kasi akala ko meron silang team to handle the creative stuff for them,” he said. “Ganun kasi yung mga napapanood ko na documentaries re boybands and Kpop groups…so it was refreshing for me (and sobrang nakakabilib) nung nalaman ko na sila pala talaga lahat.”

The “Parokya ni Edgar” frontman also expressed his admiration for the PPop group, saying that they’re not only “magaling na performers” but also “magaling sila na artists” as well.
It was last June 24, 2023 when PPop group SB19 kicked off their highly anticipated “Pagtatag” world tour at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.
SB19 is composed of five members Stell, Ken, Justin, Josh, and Pablo. The group will embark on a world tour that includes stops in different parts of the Philippines, Canada, and the United States.
According to a report on ABS-CBN News, the “Pagtatag” world tour reflects the group’s growing popularity around the world.
