Benjamin Alves: “Baby is a blessing so kung mangyayari s’ya, mangyayari s’ya.”
BENJAMIN ALVES – The “Magandang Dilag” star said that he and his fiancée Chelsea Robato are planning to have a baby.
Chelsea Robato and Benjamin Alves, who have been together since 2019, are gearing up for their upcoming wedding after getting engaged last December 2022.
To recall, the actor announced that he and his fiancée will get married on January 2024.
In an interview with the entertainment press after the media conference for the Kapuso afternoon drama series “Magandang Dilag”, the actor said that he and his partner already have a plan on having a baby but he can’t give details about it.
He also shared that his fiancée only follows some customs but they’re sure that they’re ready to be parents.
“May plano na po. Hindi ko lang po gusto sabihin kung kailan but may plano naman po,” he said. “Bilang Chinese si Chelsea, may specific kung anong year mas maganda [magkaanak]… I think we’re both ready, we’re both excited for it.”

The actor was also asked if he had a hard time trying to stop himself from having a baby.
Benjamin said that he and his partner didn’t stop them from having a child because they would welcome the baby if it was given to them even if their child arrived before their wedding day.
He added that he and his partner have somehow practiced their parenting skills since they have three pet dogs.
“Pag nagka-anak pa kami, apat na ang anak namin,” the actor said in jest.
However, the actor said that he and his partner are both busy with work and their wedding preparations. He also said that he and his fiancée re trying to make sure it’s an intimate wedding.
