According to the Southern Police District (SPD), Briguela and his friends approached Ravana and demanded that he remove his shirt. When Ravana refused, Briguela reportedly chased after him and forcefully tore his shirt, triggering a heated verbal exchange that escalated with the involvement of Briguela’s associates.

In response, Ravana and Angelo Nino Gulmatico, a bouncer at the bar, sought help from the Poblacion Police Substation, prompting a swift response from the officers. However, Briguela resisted arrest and allegedly used offensive language as the police tried to handcuff him, as seen in the widely circulated video.

Briguela’s career began as an internet sensation, where he gained attention for his impersonations of famous actresses. He was discovered by actor Coco Martin, who saw his potential and cast him in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Briguela made his feature film debut in The Super Parental Guardians in 2016, where he portrayed the character Megan Gaspar. The film also starred Coco Martin, Onyok Pineda, and Vice Ganda, who were also part of Ang Probinsyano. He later participated as a contestant in the first season of Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids.
