Valerie Concepcion: “Teenager pa lang ako, ang dami ko nang pinagdaanan.”
VALERIE CONCEPCION – The actress recently looked back on her teenage years and also gave an advice to her teenage self.
It was last week when she announced her pregnancy to her husband Francis. Valerie and Francis tied the knot in 2019.
The “Seed of Love” star appeared on Friday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she turned emotional when she recalled her difficult teenage years.
Valerie was asked to give an advice to her teenage self in the “Fast Talk” portion of the show.
In response to the question, the actress told the King of Talk that her advice to her teenage self is “girl, you’ve got this”. According to her, what her teenage self went through was no joke.
“Alam natin na hindi biro ang pinagdaanan ng teenage self ko,” she said. “So siguro, ma-a-advice ko sa kanya is, girl you’ve got this. Kahit ano pa ang pagdaanan mo, as long as you have your family, you’ve got this.“
The actress also said that she was just feeling grateful as she had been through a lot when she’s a teenager and she had to mature right away that she didn’t fully enjoy being a teenager.
In the same interview, Valerie said that she wanted to tie the knot at the age of 23.

According to her, she thinks she’s so in love with the idea of being in love and having a child at a very young age. She added that being a single mom, she wants someone for her daughter and she wants her daughter to have a father figure.
“I wanted someone to be a father to her kasi wala yung tatay niya,” she said, referring to her daughter Heather Fiona.
