Here’s the reaction of Rhian Ramos to Michelle Dee’s coming out as bisexual
RHIAN RAMOS – The Kapuso actress reacted to Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee’s coming out as bisexual.
The reigning Miss Universe Philippines queen is causing a stir online after publicly revealing her bisexuality. Michelle made the announcement in an interview with MEGA Magazine, where she shared that she has identified as bisexual for as long as she can remember and is attracted to all forms of beauty.
Michelle’s coming out solidifies her position as the second openly bisexual Miss Universe Philippines winner, following Beatrice Luigi Gomez in 2021.
Following Dee’s announcement of her bisexuality, Rhian expressed her support for the beauty queen by sharing her magazine cover on Instagram Stories. In her caption, Rhian conveyed love and acceptance, addressing Michelle as “bb.” Additionally, she posted a black and white selfie with Michelle, referring to her as “hunhun” and encouraging her to be true to herself.
Last year, Rhian and Michelle took their friendship to a deeper level by becoming roommates in a home near Max Collin’s house. Throughout Michelle’s challenging journey in the Miss Universe Philippines campaign, Rhian, along with friends like Max and influencer Janina Manipol, stood by her side.
It is heartwarming to witness Rhian’s unwavering support as she continues to be the best friend to Michelle, especially during this courageous moment of revealing her sexual orientation and gender identity.
As of press time, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization has yet to issue any statement regarding the revelation of Michelle Dee. Her mom, Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, has yet to speak out on the matter as well.
