Paolo Contis: “If there’s a project that we want to do, why not?”
PAOLO CONTIS – The actor recently spoke about possibly working with actress Yen Santos on a new project.
It was in 2021 when Paolo and Yen starred in a film “A Faraway Land” which was shot in the Faroe Islands in Denmark. The said movie was meant for cinemas, but it was shown on Netflix because of COVID-19 pandemic.
The actress was named “Best Actress” at the 45th Gawad Urian, while the actor received a nomination for “Best Actor”.
Paolo Contis said during an interview at Cornerstone Studio in Quezon City that he would love to do another project with Yen Santos when the right offer comes along.
“If there’s a project, why not? Work is work,” Paolo said. “If there’s a project that we want to do, why not?”

The actor also shared how he described the status of his life now. According to him, he’s “quiet” as he only used his social media accounts only to promote what he’s doing as an actor and not to promote his personal life.
In terms of his career in the showbiz industry, Paolo said that it has been a wonderful journey for him and he also feels grateful and blessed for everything he has experienced along the way.
According to a report on ABS-CBN News, Paolo and former “Tabing Ilog” co-stars Kaye Abad and Patrick Garcia will be reunited in an upcoming movie. The said film wil be produced by Mavx Productions.
Manila Bulletin reported that the whole team is set to fly abroad a few days from now to shoot its still unrevealed movie title. According to Paolo, shooting a film overseas was “both challenging and fun”.
