Paolo Contis: “I guess being in a quiet relationship, feeling ko mas may advantage.”
PAOLO CONTIS – The Kapuso actor recently opened up about his “quiet” relationship with actress Yen Santos.
It was last January 2023 when Paolo confirmed his relationship with Yen in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”. At that time, the actor clarified that Yen is not the reason behind his breakup with his ex-partner LJ Reyes.
Paolo opened up about his “quiet” relationship with Yen in a video uploaded on GMA Integrated News’ official YouTube channel last April 21, 2023.
The Kapuso actor said in an interview with Nelson Canlas on GMA-7’s “24 Oras” that there’s “too much hate” surrounding their romance.
“It’s sad to say na super na-demonize kami pareho in terms of, parang super laki,” Paolo said. “Natuto na ako. And aminin naman natin, there is too much hate for me [so] parang sa akin, so what? As long as quiet ‘yung sa aming dalawa, then so be it.”

According to him, his “quiet relationship” with the actress has an advantage in their respective lives as they’re both private with personal matters.
The Kapuso actor admitted that he “made mistakes” in his past relationship with LJ, but he stressed that the reason behind their separation is “too personal” to share to the public.
Paolo also said that he hasn’t been in contact with his ex-partner since LJ moved to the United States with her children. However, he said that he’s waiting for the right time and the “go signal” that he can.
He also said that he’s trying to contact his ex-partner through her lawyer.
