Michelle Dy: “Mga baklang twoahh ! Di ako yun haha”
MICHELLE DY – Here’s what the beauty vlogger said about posts calling her “Miss Universe Philippines 2023”.
Actress and beauty queen Michelle Dee has been crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023 and will represent the Philippines at the international beauty competition in El Salvador later this year.
Michelle Dy shares the same first name as Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee of Makati. Also, their surnames are similar in pronunciation but different in spelling.
It was last May 13 when a certain Twitter user posted a photo of Dy and quipped: “Congratulations, Michelle Dee, our new Miss Universe Philippines 2023! (crown emoji) #MissUniversePhilippines2023”
Dy posted the same photo on her Facebook page and captioned “Miss Universe ng buhay [niyo]. Ayyiee” in her post along with emojis. The said post already has more than 7,200 reactions and 105 shares as of this writing.

The beauty vlogger went back to Twitter to respond to the Twitter user who joked that she has been crowned Miss Universe Philippines this year.
“Mga baklang twoahh! ‘Di ako ‘yun, haha (laughing emojis),” Dy said in the caption of her quote tweet.

She also acknowledged other quips about her supposedly winning the national beauty pageant. At one point, a Facebook user posted a series of Dy’s photos with a crown and the logo of the Binibining Pilipinas organization.
“HOyy wag kayong magkalkal !!” she said in response to the said post.
According to a report on Interaksyon, Dy is a long-time beauty vlogger who is known in the online community, while Dee is a beauty queen who has previously crowed as Miss World Philippines 2019.
