Finale moments of Kenneth Egano inside the ring
KENNETH EGANO – The final moments of the Filipino boxer inside the ring after his fight has resurfaced online.
It was on May 6 when the 22-year-old bantamweight fighter from General Santos City faced Davao City boxer Jason Facularin in an eight-round bout, which took place at Imus Sports Gymnasium in Imus, Cavite, Philippines. The event was part of the “Blow by Blow” series of Manny Pacquiao’s MP Promotions.
Despite being knocked down in the fight against Facularin, Egano displayed dominance for the remainder of the bout, relentlessly attacking the previously unbeaten boxer from Davao City. He came close to securing a late stoppage victory.
Immediately after the fight, Egano was taken out of the ring, and the referee, Nowel Haduca, raised an empty hand to indicate that Egano couldn’t be present for the announcement of his unanimous decision victory.
His final moments inside the ring were captured. It can be deduced that he’s trying his best in order not to lose consciousness. He was then assisted by his team.

Egano was swiftly transported to Imus Doctors Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage and later on, died after 4 days in a coma.
Egano, who Amoy Promotions represented, began his professional boxing career in 2019 but faced setbacks due to the pandemic. After nearly two years away from the ring, he maintained a busy schedule, fighting every two to three months with minimal breaks.
Before Egano’s death, Manny Pacquiao had publicly committed to covering all his medical expenses, demonstrating his support for the young boxer and his family during this difficult time.
