7-Month-Old Baby Makes It to Luzon’s Highest Peak, Mt. Pulag

Meet baby Adam, a 7-month-old boy who made it to Mt. Pulag, the highest peak of Luzon

BABY HIKER – A 7-month-old baby boy named Adam, along with his adventurous parents, accomplished the extraordinary feat of conquering Luzon’s highest peak, Mt. Pulag, on their first family hike during Mother’s Day.

As reported by Saksi, Adam’s parents, Mar Broñola and Haru Barcelona, are avid hikers themselves, so it comes as no surprise that they decided to introduce their little one to the world of outdoor activities from an early age.

For their memorable Mother’s Day hike to Mt. Pulag, Mar and Haru dedicated almost a month to preparing their baby for the adventure. They gradually exposed Adam to various outdoor activities, such as swimming, walking while carried in a baby carrier, and even taking him on jeep rides to familiarize him with warmer temperatures and perspiration.

Standing tall at 2,296 meters above sea level, the highest peak in Luzon is known for its chilly climate. However, Mar and Haru made sure to acclimate their baby to the cold. They adjusted the air conditioning in their home to the lowest temperature possible, ensuring that Adam would be accustomed to colder environments.

With their successful family hike to Mt. Pulag, Mar and Haru expressed their intent to continue including Adam in their future mountain expeditions and travels. They take pride in raising their child to appreciate and embrace the outdoors, instilling in him a love for nature and adventure from an early age.
