Jillian Ward: “I still get nervous when I have to do scenes with her—that’s Ms Dina.”
JILLIAN WARD – The Kapuso actress recently spoke about doing scenes with seasoned actress Dina Bonnevie.
Both Jillian and Dina starred in Kapuso afternoon series “Abot Kamay na Pangarap” where Jillian played the role of neurosurgeon Analyn and Dina played the role of Doc RJ’s intimidating sister Giselle.
In a recent virtual conference for “Abot Kamay na Pangarap”, the actress said that she couldn’t help but feel starstruck after seeing Dina on set for the first time.
According to Jillian, she got nervous because she knew she had to do well and she still get nervous when she has to do scenes with the seasoned actress.
Jillian also said that she was scared of Dina at first, but later on, she saw that Dina is so kind and outgoing. She added that the seasoned actress was generous enough to give her acting tips during their free time.
“I asked her for some advice and she was very patient with me and very giving. Even if she’s a big star, she makes sure to talk to us newbies,” Jillian said. “I didn’t want to mess up my lines in front of her, so I rehearsed them repeatedly. I’m proud that I can now say that I have had the opportunity to work with her.”

Aside from this, the actress shared that “Abot Kamay Na Pangarap” is easily the happiest set she has been on.
“Magaan lang … After heavy scenes, we would just have fun or make TikTok videos after the director yells cut,” the Kapuso actress said. “Our bonding is one of a kind. We’re like family.”
