JANE DE LEON – The actresss reportedly has no current offers yet due to her “attitude” on the set of defunct series, Mars Ravelo’s Darna.
As Joshua Garcia lands a new project right after his stint in “Darna,” fans are now intrigued about Jane’s next move. The actress, who portrayed the iconic role of Darna, is currently in Japan enjoying a vacation.
But Ogie Diaz heard from a source that it might take a while before Jane de Leon’s next show because she is perceived to be difficult to work with on set and has a reputation for being somewhat temperamental. However, another friend of Ogie’s contradicted this claim, saying that Jane is actually obedient and easy to work with on set.
Ogie also mentioned that there are rumors that some production teams do not understand that Jane sometimes experiences discomfort or headaches on set, even though she continues to work diligently. On the other hand, Mama Loi defended Jane de Leon, saying that her supposed “difficult” behavior could be attributed to exhaustion from the intense scenes and action required for her role as Darna.
Mama Loi added that in her interview with Jane de Leon, the young actress appeared to be kind and cooperative. She also emphasized that Jane has big dreams and is a talented actress to work with. Ogie echoed Mama Loi’s sentiments and stated that Jane de Leon’s next project is likely to follow soon, given her successful lead role in a major project like “Darna.”
According to the showbiz insider, it is common for actors to be offered new projects based on their performance in their previous roles. However, Ogie pointed out that it is possible that offers or opportunities for Jane de Leon’s next project may not have reached them yet, so it’s best to wait and see.
