Ebe Dancel on Gab Chee Kee: “I think this is his first show”
GAB CHEE KEE – The guitarist of “Parokya ni Edgar” made his first appearance at Ebe Dancel’s concert after months of medical treatment.
The former “Sugarfree” frontman staged the repeat of “Sa Wakas: 20th Anniversary Celebration” concert at the 123 Block, Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City last March 31, 2023.
According to a report on Interaksyon, part of the earnings of Ebe’s concert will be donated to Gab’s medical and hospital bills.
Earlier in the evening of March 31, Ebe Dancel dedicated the music event to Gab.

Gab Chee Kee made a quick appearance on stage during the latter part of the concert and waved to the audience. According to Ebe Dancel, he’s happy to see Gab in his concert. He also quipped how “kilig” he was over Gab’s presence during that time.
“So very very happy to see him here tonight. I think this is his first show, Gab Chee Kee bro,” Ebe said. “Crush ko ‘yan e… yihee. Kasama niya ang girlfriend niya.”
Gab’s public appearance at Ebe Dancel’s concert came weeks after Parokya ni Edgar updated fans that the guitarist was already discharged from the hospital. According to Parokya ni Edgar, the band guitarist would continue his chemotherapy after getting out of the hospital.
The former “Sugarfree” frontman was among the musicians who helped raise funds for Gab’s medical expenses. He staged the repeat of “Sa Wakas: 20th Anniversary Celebration” concert due to insistent public demand.
