KAPA – The video of a Foodpanda rider showcasing his piano skills at the mall while patiently waiting for his orders has gained widespread attention online.

Playing an instrument by ear, also known as “kapa” in Filipino culture, refers to the ability to learn and play a musical instrument without relying on sheet music or formal instruction. It involves using one’s sense of hearing and musical intuition to listen to a piece of music and then reproduce it on the instrument without the need for written notation or guidance.

When playing an instrument by ear or “kapa,” a musician listens to a song or a piece of music and uses their musical ear to identify and replicate the melody, rhythm, and other musical elements on their instrument. This can apply to a wide range of instruments, such as guitar, violin, flute, drums, or any other instrument that produces musical notes.
