Fil-Am singer Garth Garcia reveals being “maltreated” by Vice Ganda’s assistant
GARTH GARCIA – The Filipino-American singer has complained about the treatment he received from the assistant of Unkabogable Phenomenal Star Vice Ganda during the concert of the It’s Showtime host on April 23, 2023, at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland, California, USA.
Garcia couldn’t help but exposed the assistant’s treatment towards them, shouting at them as if they were not part of Vice Ganda’s production. He argued that even though they were “front act artists,” they should not have been treated in such a manner.
Garcia’s first complaint was about the lack of a dressing room/area for the front-act artists. As a result, other artists reportedly placed their belongings in the dining area. When Vice Ganda’s assistant saw this, the assistant allegedly shouted at them and seemingly ordered them around, tidying up and removing their belongings.
The second incident was when they were called to celebrate with the entire production staff after the successful concert. When Vice’s assistant saw them, they were allegedly told to leave, saying: “Alis! Alis kayo rito!”
Garcia clarified that he only had an issue with Vice’s assistant and not with the comedian. For the Filipino-American singer, Vice’s assistant should be more polite, especially when going to other countries to perform because they are visitors there.
According to PEP.ph, if Vice Ganda were to hold another concert in the US, Garcia might think twice about being a front act if he were to face the same situation again. Apparently, there has been no response or statement from Vice Ganda’s camp regarding this issue.
