NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT – A netizen took to social media wherein she shared a conversation between a pre-law student and her “marites” friend.

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA), also known as a confidentiality agreement (CA), is a legal contract between two or more parties that outlines confidential material, knowledge, or information that the parties wish to share with one another for certain purposes but wish to restrict from further disclosure or dissemination to others.

The NDA is designed to protect the confidential information from being disclosed to third parties, such as competitors or the public, without the owner’s consent. NDAs are commonly used in business settings, such as when companies are discussing new ideas, products, or services, or when employers are sharing proprietary information with employees or contractors.

Recently, a certain Mori Holmes took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she shared a conversation between a pre -law student and her “marites” friend. Her post was accompanied by the caption: “‘yong may ichichika ka sana sa kaibigan mong marites, kaso pre-law student ka na may trust issue”

The conversation started when the student told her friend that she has a “chika” or something to say. The latter expressed her excitement on the said “chika”. All of sudden, the student sent her a non-disclosure agreement, meaning she should not disclose to anyone what they are going to talk about: “Papirma muna non-disclosure agreement. Mahirap na,” she said.
