Alfred Vargas Says He Loves Being A Student Again

Alfred Vargas: “I think I’ll continue to study, study, and study until I’m a senior citizen!”

ALFRED VARGAS – The “AraBella” star and incumbent councilor for the 5th district of Quezon City said that he loves being a student again.

The actor currently enrolled at the University of the Philippines (UP) School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP) where he hopes to complete his doctorate degree in urban planning.

In a message sent to GMANetwork.com, the actor said that he loves being a student again as he gets a lot of wisdom and insights from his professors and classmates which he can apply as a public servant.

He also sees education as a “never-ending process” and that anyone can take it at any age. According to him, he thinks he will continue to study until he’s a senior citizen.

Learning is an everyday process. It should never end,” Alfred said in a message sent to GMANetwork.com. “I think I’ll continue to study, study, and study until I’m a senior citizen!

The actor took his undergraduate degree in management economics at ADMU (Ateneo de Manila University) and earned his Master of Public Administration at UPNCPAG (UP National College of Public Administration and Governance).

Alfred said that he will do everything he can in order to get the doctorate degree from UPSURP in the next few years. He also knows that the road to his PhD is a long journey that he is willing to take.

The actor seems to have learned the balance between time for his family, his work in the showbiz industry, his studies, and public service.

He attributes his love for learning to his late mother.

It was last March 29 when he shared a message for his late mom to mark her 9th death anniversary. Sharing a series of photos on his Instagram post, he expressed his gratitude to his late mom for always praying for him, guiding him, and for always being there for his family.
