Single Mom Shares Her Inspiring Story on Social Media
SINGLE MOM – A single mom has shared her struggles just to finish college “Maging madiskarte kesa mag inarte”.
A working single mom student named Bonita Camz Nunez DiLag shared her story where she faced various struggles from being an early mother to the times where she had to leave no one behind with her child and expenses for her studies and the milk of her children.
However, she did not lose hope that someday she will also achieve her desired graduation.
Bonita said that she has been a single mom for three years and has been through some difficult events in her life, which has strengthened her. She turned her trauma and suffering as inspiration to make positive changes.
“Single Mom din ako for 3yrs. sometimes the most painful event in our life make us stronger. Grabe yung trauma at hirap na naranasan pero ginawa ko yung motivation para mas maging better version of me,” she said.
There were times when she had to bring her children to school since there was no one to watch them. Some people criticized and condemned the latter for having children at such a young age.
Dilag thanked her professors for being understanding of her situation. Aside from being a student, she also works as a service crew at fast-food restaurants such as Jollibee and McDonald’s to provide for her children’s needs.
“I am a proud service crew of #Mcdonalds and #Jollibee Tagaytay estudyante sa umaga service crew naman sa hapon hanggang gabi minsan straight duty gang Graveyard (GY) Wala eh kailangan pangbaon at Panggatas ng anak,” she added.
Camz was able to complete her education after years of struggle.
