Parokya ni Edgar Opens Bidding For Francis M’s “Bagsakan” Polo

Parokya ni Edgar: “Our most sincerest gratitude to the Magalona Family as they donated Sir Kiko’s Bagsakan Polo to be auctioned off for Gab!”

PAROKYA NI EDGAR – The OPM band recently opened the auction for Francis Magalona’s polo that he wore in the 2005 music video for “Bagsakan”.

It started when Chito announced on his social media post that the Magalona family found the “Bagsakan” polo of the late OPM rapper.

According to Chito, he messaged Saab Magalona and asked her about Francis M’s “Bagsakan” polo. Saab then informed him that her mother found the polo and said that she wants to sell it for Chito’s bandmate, Parokya ni Edgar guitarist Gab Chee Kee.

The bidding started last March 2, 2023 and will end at 10:00 pm on March 6, 2023 (Francis Magalona’s death anniversary). According to the band, the starting bid for Francis M’s polo is at PHP 100,000.

Hours after opening the auction, the band announced that the highest confirmed bid for “Polo ni Kiko” was at PHP 300,000 as of 12:01 am March 3, 2023.

The band also took the opportunity to thank Magalona family as they donated Francis Magalona’s “Bagsakan” polo to be auctioned off for the band guitarist who is battling cancer.

Aside from this, Parokya ni Edgar also gave an update about Gab. The band shared that Gab is doing well in his recovery and has started physical therapy a few days ago. According to the band, Gab is also able to post on his social media accounts.
