Kiray Celis on Stephan Estopia: “Magkabarangay kami, so nakakapunta siya sa bahay namin”
KIRAY CELIS – The actress shared that she’s not in favor of the live-in setup with her boyfriend Stephan Estopia before getting married.
According to her, many thought that she and Stephan had a live-in setup just because he’s in her house during the pandemic.
The actress went on to explain that they are in the same barangay and so he could go to their house during that time. She also said that her sibling and her boyfriend are best friends.
“Ang daming nagsasabi na akala live-in kami ng jowa ko, kasi noong pandemic every day siya nasa bahay namin. So paano nangyari e lockdown nga,” she told Paolo Contis. “Kabilang kanto lang siya ng bahay namin. Same barangay kami, kaya noong close yung barangay namin, magkabarangay kami, so nakakapunta siya sa bahay namin.“
The actress appeared in the latest episode of Paolo Contis’s online show “Just In” wherein she spoke about her relationship.
In an interview, the actress was asked if she’s in favor of the live-in setup before getting married. According to her, she and her boyfriend will tie the knot first before living under one roof.
“Kailangan kasal muna bago ang lahat,” she said.

When it comes to starting a family, Kiray admitted that she’s not ready for it yet. She shared that it’s not her priority yet and she’s also afraid to have one, adding that she doesn’t want to be unprepared when that happens.
For her, she knows that having a child is a blessing but she’s not yet ready for the role of being a mother to her child. She also said that her boyfriend understands her in her decision.
“Maintindihin naman ‘yung boyfriend ko,” she said. “Hindi naman niya ako kinukulit sa mga ganoong pagkakataon. Siguro, naka-quota na siya sa mga dating pinagdaanan niya sa buhay.“
It was last January 2023 when she and her boyfriend celebrated their 3rd anniversary in Thailand.
