KIKO PANGILINAN – The former senator and vice presidential candidate took to social media wherein he shared his encounter with a young girl he met at a fastfood restaurant.

Kiko Pangilinan, whose full name is Francis Nepomuceno Pangilinan, is a former politician and lawyer. He was born on August 24, 1963, in Manila, Philippines.

Pangilinan served as the youngest senator in the history of the Philippines when he was elected in 2001 at the age of 37. Prior to his senatorial career, he served as the Presidential Assistant for Community Development, and later as the Chairman of the Presidential Anti-Crime Commission during the presidency of Joseph Estrada.

During his time in the Senate, Pangilinan has advocated for various issues such as agriculture, education, justice, and social welfare. He has authored and co-authored several laws including the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act, the Philippine Lemon Law, and the Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act.

Pangilinan is also the husband of actress Sharon Cuneta, and they have four children together. He previously ran for vice president as running mate of Leni Robredo. However, they failed against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte.

Recently, he went to social media wherein he shared his encounter with a young girl he met at a fastfood restaurant. According to him, the girl told him that she voted for him and Leni during the last election.

“Yesterday in Army Navy, Alabang I met a young girl who told me she voted for me& leni, asked for a photo& broke down& cried. I told her we’re definitely not done yet, that I will continue to fight for her&her generation &that we will not give up the fight,” he noted.
