Sam Neill has stage 3 blood cancer
SAM NEILL – The Jurassic Park star has disclosed that he is currently undergoing medical treatment for stage-three blood cancer, which was diagnosed approximately one year ago.
In his upcoming memoir titled “Did I Ever Tell You This?”, the New Zealand-born actor shared that he was “possibly dying” as a result of his condition. Neill stated that he began receiving treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March of last year. The actor’s book is scheduled to be released in the coming week.
Sam Neill, the prolific actor known for his wide-ranging performances on both the small and big screens, first emerged onto the acting scene in the 1970s and has since taken on numerous iconic roles in both TV shows and films. His notable credits include starring in the hit BBC drama series “Peaky Blinders,” appearing in the action-thriller film “The Hunt for Red October,” and featuring in the critically acclaimed drama “The Piano.” He rose to fame with his conic portrayal of Dr. Alan Grant in the blockbuster film “Jurassic Park”.
